Cellcom Raises $7500 for the American Breast Cancer Foundation

Cellcom’s “Everyone Deserves a Fighting Chance” promotion raised $7,500 for the American Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF).
To support breast cancer awareness throughout the month of October, Cellcom pledged $5 to ABCF for every Blackberry Pearl Flip smartphone sold, pink or black. Additionally, Cellcom will donated $5 for every SkinIt sold during the month at any Cellcom agent or retail location.
“We are grateful for the support of Cellcom” said Phyllis Wolf, president of the American Breast Cancer Foundation. “ABCF is honored to be a beneficiary of this worthwhile event that brings people together for a cause that touches so many lives.”
ABCF’s Key to Life Breast Cancer Assistance Program provides direct assistance in the form of financial grants for annual mammogram screenings and breast cancer diagnostic tests to find or rule out breast cancer. Each year, approximately 8,000 women and men nationwide receive services through the Key to Life Breast Cancer Assistance Program. Breast cancer patients may also be eligible for support items such as wigs, prosthesis and medications.
